Exclusive to the Overland trim level is the High Altitude package with adds 20-inch black wheels, a sporty body kit and black exterior accents. The Platinum Series Group includes a variety of exterior trim enhancements.


Power and Performance:

The 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has several engine options, with some exclusively available to specific trim levels. The standard configuration is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that outputs 295 horsepower. This is available on all models except the SRT version. The SRT comes with a 6.4 -liter V8 engine that offers 475 horsepower with 470 lb-ft of torque. Additional engine options (5.7-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque and a turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 engine with 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft) are offered to the mid-range trim levels Limited, Overland and Summit. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has powerful towing capacity with the V6 engine rated at 2,812 kg while the Hemi V8 is rated for 3,265 kg.

Rear-wheel drive is standard on all models except the SRT. There are other 4WD options with availability depending on the trim level.
