Dodge Journey Safety Features

The Dodge Journey is equipped with several advanced technologies in the brake system to help make every stop secure and controllable. By incorporating dual-phase steel in several key areas provides a help for handling greater loads and delivering a more effective energy management should an impact occur. Seven advanced multistage front airbags, supplemental side-curtain airbags, mounted side airbags and a driver's knee airbag come standard for adding that extra level of protection. As well, should a rear-end collision occur, the active front seat head restraints help to decrease the space between head and headrest to reduce the risk of head, neck or spine injury. The Journey is also equipped with specially designed front and rear crumple zones that help absorb impact and redirect it away from the vehicle occupants.
