The truck comes in three engine choices: a 300 horsepower Triton V8 5.4-litre engine (365 lb.-ft of torque), 362 horsepower Triton V10 (457 lb.-ft of torque), and a 350 horsepower twin-turbo V8 6.4-litre Powerstroke diesel (650 lb.-ft of torque). With regard to available transmissions, it comes in a six-speed manual or five-speed TorqShift automatic that’s complemented by Tow/Haul mode.

Front tow hooks come standard and XLT models are packed with chrome front bumpers; while XL models come with polished chrome grilles. Lariat units are loaded with stylish fog lamps, cab steps, and a functional as well as the sleek rear window.

Regular cab models can easily and conveniently fit up to three occupants, while Super Cab and Crew Cab models can fit up to six individuals, depending on the model and the height and weight of occupants. XLT models, on top of regular features such as air conditioning, power locks and windows, CD player, and so on, are also packed with cruise control. Lariat models, on top of the aforementioned components, also come with power front seats that are covered in premium leather.

There are plenty of safety features to assist with driving and its cutting-edge anti-lock braking system (ABS) stands out. It’s specifically designed to automatically detect each time the tire stops rotating during extreme braking. When this happens, it fine-tunes the pressure to allow appropriate tire rotation. This, in turn, boosts the truck’s capability to turn each time the brake is hit.

Also, airbags can be found to the front and they are designed to deliver utmost safety during frontal crashes. Furthermore, it’s packed with an ignition disable device that prevents the engine from starting if an incorrect key is used.
