Ford Fiesta

Rediscover the superior design of the Ford Fiesta and why it is a highly sought after compact vehicle. Offered with either a sedan or hatchback, the Fiesta is fitted with the best in vehicle technology and security.

Ford Fiesta: Iconic Vehicle for the Next Generation

The Ford Fiesta ST is a well known, long lasting, and most improved small hatchback which has retained and increased in popularity since it was first released in 1976.

Often described as a "supermini", the Fiesta has been redesigned numerous times and now includes a sedan style alongside the more traditional hatchback.

Available in a range of trims, the models are mainly fitted with a 1.0-litre turbocharged gas engine which accompanies a six-speed manual transmission. Some models can be switched for an automatic transmission. There's also the option to trade up the engine to the larger 1.6-litre gas engine plus there are 1.5-litre diesel models too, but these tend to be less popular.

It isn't the largest car in this class, and although it's capable of seating 5, it's quite a snug fit.

Despite being a smaller sized car, the Fiesta handles well both around the city and on the freeway, giving a smooth and enjoyable ride for both drivers and passengers.

A Sophisticated Small Car

The interior of the Ford Fiesta is surprisingly sophisticated, and for those who have never ventured inside one before, it's a veritable feast of technology.

The SYNC 3 infotainment system connects to both ios and Android, providing an in-vehicle WiFi hotspot as well as hands-free controls for both entertainment and driving. A smart 8-inch touchscreen dominates the dashboard, replacing many of the plastic buttons and switches with a far sleeker and contemporary design.

There's more on offer than just advanced entertainment systems as there are also devices to assist with the on the road performance too. Cruise control makes long distance driving more relaxing while power steering and sensors help with rear parking. Drivers won't be distracted from the road thanks to the electronic temperature control, heated seats and push-button ignition which provide comfort and convenience.

Top of the Range Safety Features

Ford has a range of different safety features which can be found on some of their other models, including larger vehicles and trucks. Despite its diminutive size and budget price, there's no skimping on safety with the Ford Fiesta as many of the same safety elements found in higher trim vehicles are included here also.

Front, side and knee airbags provide cushioning for driver and passengers with electronic stability control and ABS providing extra reassurance. The smart Tire Pressure Monitoring System, emergency trunk release, and SOS Post-Crash Alert System are all built in too.

The Ford Fiesta is one of the most iconic small cars which is still in production today and with such an impressive range of features, coupled with its superior handling, it's not difficult to appreciate why.
