The Honda Pilot is a spacious crossover which provides the driver with flexibility over both cargo and passengers. A versatile vehicle which has many comforts features too, this is a top pick among its class.
The Honda Pilot offers superior space
If space is a priority for you and you’re likely to need room to transport a large number of passengers while still tackling tricky terrains the Honda Pilot might be the answer. A spacious crossover, the Pilot can accommodate up to eight passengers spread out over three rows of seating. But there’s more to the Pilot than just space inside the vehicle with a tough enough build to handle off-roading as well. You don’t even need to sacrifice comfort to take advantage of the combination of space and toughness as the interior is crammed with features too. The Pilot offers the choice of either front wheel or all-wheel drive. This is coupled with an automatic transmission but drivers can pick either a six or nine-speed transmission. Without question, one of the biggest advantages offered by the Pilot is the space inside the vehicle but as well as providing lots of room, there’s also plenty of flexibility in the configuration. Being able to switch the seating around provides drivers with the option of switching between passengers and cargo as and when their needs change. If you need to carry the maximum number of passengers on any trip the three rows of seating can easily accommodate up to eight passengers which still leaves a good amount of cargo space in the trunk. It’s possible to choose between either two or three row of seating in the back, but if you opt for the former you’ll find the increased cargo space come in handy.
Luxury on Every Trim
The Pilot comes in a variety of trim levels, beginning with the entry model, the LX which moves up the range to the top level and aptly named Elite. If you’re not sure what trim to choose and are worried about comfort, the good news is that even the basic LX is generously equipped. Cruise control and air conditioning are included in the Pilot while the infotainment system has Bluetooth compatibility and is accessed via a convenient LCD screen. As you increase the trim level, you’ll find further comfort features added such as heated mirrors, remote engine start, a power tailgate, heated seats, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
A Performance You Can Trust
Honda is a manufacturer who sets out to provide superior protection for drivers and passengers and this is seen yet again in the Pilot. As with many other vehicles in their garage, the Honda Pilot has an excellent range of safety features fitted as standard. Traction control, antilock brakes and an electronic stability system make sure the vehicle keeps all four tires on the road in any condition, and also provides assistance in more difficult terrains too. Active head restraints provide protection against whiplash while side, curtain and head airbags are also included. Moving up through the trims piles on even more standard safety features including blind spot monitoring and a lane keeping system, both useful for alerting the driver to potential hazards. A spacious and comfortable crossover, the Honda Pilot isn’t short of room for either cargo or passengers. A generously sized trunk plus a great range of in-car accessories make this an excellent and flexible choice.
