This tool displays the expected long-term value of your vehicle
With a smooth ride and a stylish interior design, the Infiniti M56 invites you to take it out on the road and expect nothing but comfort and a fast drive. Here’s what you need to know. The Infiniti M56 is the type of used car that you’d be wise to consider if you prefer to weigh your options carefully and look beyond the obvious choices. Why? Because it is a midsize luxury sedan that has not only matched but also bested in many ways its traditional European competitors. The most notable reason for such a claim is the 5.6-litre V8 that seeks refuge under the M56’s hood, only to roar back out to make its presence known at the top of the throttle. Top quality materials on the inside coupled with more gadgets you can count add to its appeal. The M56 is tough to beat in terms of sheer value for money. Unfortunately, it was merged with the Infiniti M37 in 2011 in order to create a new model simply named Infinity M. It’s still available as a used car, though; one you’d be more than wise to take a closer look at. Here’s why.
A Power-Packed Engine
The previously mentioned 5.6-liter V-8 engine puts out 420 peak horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque. There’s a seven-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear axle. You can upgrade to an all-wheel-drive system as well. On the centre console, there’s the Drive Mode Selector knob which enables you to select one out of four different modes: Normal, Sports, Snow, Eco and the optional feature, the Eco Pedal. This optional feature restricts the engine output to save gas. The suspension is remarkably smooth so you won’t feel the bumps on the road. When driving at top speed, you’ll be able to hear the sound of the engine perfectly.
A Stylish and Roomy Interior
The interior is packed with gorgeous materials like wood trim and rich leather upholstery. Some of the features include a10-way adjustable driver’s seat with dual occupant memory. There are also climate-controlled front seats and a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel. This four-door sedan is praised for its bountiful cabin where five adults can sit comfortably. It offers a great amount of cargo space and is large enough to fit numerous bulky items with easy access. Overall, in the M56 comfort and utility do not make compromises in any way.
A Potent Level of Tech Equipment
There’s an eight-inch colour LCD touch-screen with a voice command as the most prominent tech feature of the cabin. Some of the other technological features inside the M56 include Infiniti Drive, Active Noise Control, Blind Spot Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, Forest Air system, Bose Studio Surround and Intelligent Cruise Control. Blind Spot Warning, for example, is a nifty feature that signals a light when an obstruction is detected in the vehicle's blind spot. A very interesting feature in the M56’s interior is the seat speakers. Other notable mentions include satellite radio, a hard disk drive, a USB port for iPod integration (or a USB thumb drive), Bluetooth audio and an aux-in jack. A Good-Looking Performer Overall, the Infiniti M56, although only available as a used vehicle, is still a great choice. The impressive engine power that’s responsible for a smooth and fast drive could solely and easily be reason enough to invest in this car. That said, there is a bundle of other impressive things about this vehicle. Its stylish interior and the comfort it provides make for a more enjoyable ride. All in all, together with a bunch of tech features this sedan has, you’ll be nicely equipped for a road trip.
