May 22 2020

The 2017 updated version of the Kia Forte has an improved exterior and interior. Under the hood, it has also been given a new engine, resulting in improved fuel consumption. The overall enhancements and improvements have given the updated Forte a new appearance and character that will be an attention getter!

It’s anticipated that the 2017 Kia Forte sedan will be seen in the showrooms of Canada in the late summer, with the ambition of increasing the sales of this compact sedan. This updated version of the Forte will draw attention with its new corporate “tiger shark” grille. The frontal section is flanked by sleeker, sweeping headlights that extend backward over the front wheel wells. To the rear, a new bumper and fresh taillights, with LED on higher trim models are significant enhancements as are the newly designed wheels.

The 2017 Kia Forte is like its predecessors a good looking, eye-catching car, and the upgrading process has succeeded in giving a needed touch of impact and presence. Moving into the interior, there is a newly designed central stack, as well as new fabrics and increased soft-touch surfaces.

As well as the exterior, the interior is updated as is the engine. The previous model Forte had a 1.8 litre engine, while the 2017 Forte boasts a 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine, the same as used in the 2017 Hyundai Elantra, and which is rated at 147 horsepower with 32 lb.-ft. of torque and supported by a 6-speed automatic transmission. A further advantage provided by this engine is the combined fuel efficiency of 7.2L/100 km.

The EX (A/T) has 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, leather steering wheel, and various other technical features that give all-around safety, comfort and convenience.
